Sin Wai-kin: It’s Always You

It’s Always You is a solo exhibition by the Canadian Chinese artist Sin Wai-kin, which showcase his works that have never been exhibited in Hong Kong in a chronological order from 2016 to 2021, and traces the artist’s creative process.

The artist reshaped himself to have multiple identities and switch between different ways of being, including movies, facial wipes, performances, texts, ephemeras, his practice encompasses a wide range of material and gender expressions as well as the world of others. The colorful journey of this exhibition hembodies the danger and joy of naming, the cycle of life and death, the inevitability of change, and the ease and elegance of transformation. He is a handbag, a collector and forager of characters, dances, novels, truth, history and possible futures.
