Ken Chan: Voyage of the Night

Voyage of the Night is a solo exhibition of the latest work by the Hong Kong local artist Ken Chan King-long, which responds to themes such as history, social phenomena, living conditions, and personal experiences. He attempts to reveal and propose different ways of perceiving these subjects and their different states of existence.

Born and raised in a bustling city, the artist's life is surrounded by people, who are particularly fascinated by the city after nightfall, as it was a time when he could enjoy some alone time. Combining his own lessons and the essence of life gained from personal experiences, he is honest about the fact that his creations are neither elegant nor perfect, but they truly present the beauty of vulnerability.
