Zhang Guo-Qiang

Zhang Guoqiang is a cross-media artist specializing in modern visual theory, with over 2,000 works including the "Meat Series," "The Garden of Evolution Series," "Loong Series," "Year Series," and "Flute Player Series," widely collected by domestic and international art institutions and individuals. In recent years, he has focused on overseas artistic research, promotion, and exchange.
In June 2019, he successfully held the comprehensive solo exhibition - Fukaya Ni Ryu No Hoko Wa Kakurezu (谷深未曾掩龍吟) at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Japan. In 2023, Sichuan Fine Arts Publishing House released his large-scale art book series “Solitary Valley” in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
Artistically, Zhang is dedicated to exploring and redefining the identity of Chinese contemporary artists in the new era. Rooted in traditional Chinese culture while integrating advanced international concepts, he creates works with modern visual characteristics under the broader visual language framework. Collaborating with global teams, he actively expands his artistic IP into digital-era cultural industries, including fashion design.
