P2P is a joint exhibition that features 2 aspiring artists Lei Leng-Wai from Macau and Liu Lu from Hangzhou, which showcase a dazzling display of lights and shadows.
In the contemporary era, it is unavoidable to elude the omnipresence of luminosity and pixels emanating from our screens. The artificial color spectrum is getting closer to the vast wonders of nature. Both young artists drew inspiration from this environment through works to achieve a harmonious balance between power and delicacy. Lei combines simple lines with muted colors, while Liu cleverly uses rich tones across multiple spatial dimensions.
Displaying the works of the two artists in a mixed and contrasting manner aims to highlight the similarities and differences in their creations, rather than adopting the traditional "dou solo exhibition" approach. Works of art have always acted as a profound channel, transcending the boundaries of time and space, connecting artists and audiences on a spiritual level. Being able to experience the interaction of light and shadow originating from the essence of daily life allows everyone to be moved by a gentle and peaceful resonance, arousing subtle ripples in the viewer’s heart.
