Emo Gym

Emo Gym is a group exhibition by 7 Hong Kong artists, which is the short form of “emotion gymnasium", showcasing the fragility of our time that artists face, dissect, and possibly embrace. Together, their sincere and poetic artworks create an intimate and experimental space that prompts visitors to explore emotions through the discovery of deep connections with the artwork and with each other.

The exhibition explores various forms of vulnerability, including those related to human relationships, the digitization of human experience, and social institutions, and raises the important questions: Does vulnerability constitute a fundamental state of human existence and the world in which we live? Despite the possible risks, will exposing and sharing a subtle sense of vulnerability catalyze a new world in which we better coexist with other emotional creatures?
