borgerkrigen (The Civil War) is a solo exhibition of a collection of new paintings by the Copenhagen-based artist Jack Kabangu, which showcases a hold of personal significance to the artist and intends to express the encounter and fusion of different cultures and the impact it has had.

The psychological connection between the external world and the everyday environment that make up human interaction greatly inspires the artist's creation and influences themes and themes that run through the works of this new series. Energy is a quality painting that comes from the heart, and it is this emotional quality that the artist wishes to convey to the viewer. A self-taught artist, his visual language combines his African cultural roots with his Danish sensibility.
